Science is going to view the Martian on Friday, October 23rd.

Cost is $5 per person.  Students must have a permission form.

3 ring binder at least two inches and paper

Must have own scientific calculator

must have 1 composition book for lab work

AP CHEM there is a $20 lab fee

All other Chem Classes, lab fees are $10.

GILROY

Earth-Physical and Chemistry

3 ring binder at least a 1 inch binder, 3 dividers, 100 pages lined paper, 25 pages graph paper.

Writing utensils

Scientific Calculator (don’t get the graphing ones unless you have one.  You can get a TI or Casio for $10)

$10 lab fee

Environmental Forestry

3 ring binder at least a 1 inch binder, 3 dividers, 100 pages lined paper

MARTIN-TRUJILLO

1 to 1 1/2 inch binder filled with college ruled loose leaf paper AND graph paper plus pocket folder that students can insert work into.

Taos Science Department Gets a Make-Over!

Taos Science Dept. is excited about the recent renovations to our classrooms and labs.  New colors, equipments and laboratory spaces will make this new school year an exciting year.

Each lab and classroom will now have a teaching wall equipped with big screen TV to display student work and presentations.  Our labs will be equipped with Vernier Probeware, allowing students to collect more data and focus on analysis and meaning while performing investigations.
